MANNY WEINTRAUB, CFA

PRINCIPAL & portfolio manager

Joined Spears Abacus LLC, a predecessor firm of Cannell & Spears, in 2020.

Manny is a Principal and Portfolio Manager with more than 30 years of experience. He builds portfolios of individually selected stocks for clients across every stage of their financial lives.His current discipline focuses on the purchase of companies whose stocks demonstrate both positive price momentum and valuation support. His approach to asset allocation places particular emphasis on the potential long-term effect of inflation on client purchasing power.

Manny began his career under the mentorship of Shelby M.C. Davis, Morningstar's Domestic Equity Fund Manager of the Year (1996). He later co-managed the group at Neuberger Berman that invested for Roy Neuberger, among others, and went on to found Integre Asset Management, LLC, a domestic equity firm, before joining Spears Abacus  in 2020. His investment experience spans multiple market cycles and periods of significant market volatility,  including the 2000 dot-com crisis, the 2008 financial crisis, and the 2022 bear market.

Manny received a BA with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and holds the CFA designation. Outside of work, he is an avid meditator and chef.
