MANNY WEINTRAUB, CFA

PRINCIPAL & portfolio manager

Joined Cannell & Spears in 2020.

Manny is a Principal and Portfolio Manager with more than 30 years of experience. He builds portfolios of individually selected stocks for clients across every stage of their financial lives, working from a simple conviction: losing money to inflation is as damaging as losing it to market volatility – at least bear markets have a chance to recover. His current discipline focuses on the purchase of companies whose stocks have both positive price momentum and valuation support. His approach to asset allocation treats inflation as the primary threat to a client’s wellbeing, not volatility.

Manny began his career under the mentorship of Shelby M.C. Davis, Morningstar's Domestic Equity Fund Manager of the Year (1996). He later co-managed the group at Neuberger Berman that invested for Roy Neuberger, among others, and went on to found Integre Asset Management, LLC, a domestic equity firm, before joining Cannell & Spears in 2020. He has invested through every major market dislocation of the past three decades, including the 2000 dot-com crisis, the 2008 financial crisis, and the bear market of 2022.

Manny received a BA with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and holds the CFA designation. Outside of work, he is an avid meditator and chef.
